Throwback Thursday: 90’s TV Shows

It’s the ultimate showdown of the Top 5 best 90’s theme songs! Let’s not waste anytime and cut to the chase!

#5. “Rugrats Theme Song”

That drum roll! How can you not love this theme song? It’s a cute, ringing song that takes you back to the good ole diaper days. And without any lyrics, watching the opening credits scene allows for a simplified taste of each of the babies, and toddler’s, personalities shine through.

#4. “Everywhere You Look” by Jesse Frederick

Talk about the royalties, and loyalties, to this song! The fact that it’s still being used today, covered by Carly Rae Jepsen, definitely proves that this song withstands the test of time.

#3. “Saved by The Bell”

I remember watching reruns early in the morning before school! The show made me anticipate high school and actually offered more realistic expectations. The song perfectly captured the shenanigans and mischievous antics of Zack Morris and the gang!

#2. “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts

Basically, if you missed the clapping in the beginning, you have to watch another episode to catch it again for redemption. It’s catchy and you completely forget that it’s just a theme song, but you’ve probably memorized them already.

#1. “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince

Hands down, the best 90’s theme song ever! It’s hilarious, catchy, and tells an iconic story! Everyone and their mom knows this song, so it deserves the number spot on this list!
